First.

Everything happens for GOOD. Debating happens for GOOD

t h e r e b u t t a l :
Everything happens for good?
YEAH RIGHT. Everything does not happen for good. Problems, catastrophes and disappointments in life don’t seem to 'rhyme' with being good.
Debating happens for Good?
HELL NO! Debating just makes all things complicated and instead of giving a debater an aura of being all good, it makes the debater exude an aura of arrogance, an aura of being bad which is NOT good. Debate has been a breeding place for plagiarism, overconfidence, stupidity which is NOT, and NEVER will be GOOD.

Second.

In EVERYTHING we do, a WINNER is always needed

t h e r e b u t t a l :

To quote the famous words of Rodney King, ‘Why can’t we all just get along?’ Do we really need a WINNER in everything? Why can’t we just have a TIE or a DRAW in everything, we are all equal, aren’t we? Having winners and losers just create FRICTION and FIRE that ruins relationships and ultimately ruins lives. In EVERYTHING that we do, we DON'T always need a WINNER. As long as we persevere and work hard in everything that we do, we should be contented. We are all EQUAL.

Third.

Debating is FUN

t h e r e b u t t a l :

You call debating FUN? As said by Mr. Webster, FUN is something that gives enjoyment and amusement. So feeling arrogant, feeling overconfident, being a plagiarist, being shamed in front of people is what you would call FUN? Debating is NOT FUN. It is a pain in the (insert profanity here). Debating makes one exude an aura of being BAD. Debating is TIRING and is a waste of TIME. It is all talk and no action. Where is the FUN in that?

Fourth.

Creates Opportunities.

t h e r e b u t t a l :

It creates opportunities? Opportunities to SHAME other people and opportunities to show your BAD side. Debating is all nonsense. It is mere talk and no action. It won’t mean anything because at the end of the day, it would just be ALL TALK. There are NO opportunities whatsoever in debates because it would only make one focus on winning the topic and hand and nothing else. How can debate create opportunities when debating is just ALL TALK and NO ACTION?

Fifth.

Fosters Critical Thinking.

t h e r e b u t t a l :

Debate has never and will never enhance critical thinking. Debaters just PLAGIARIZE their ideas. They copy their ideas from PEOPLE, ARTICLES and from the INTERNET. Debaters should even be accused of PIRACY. They just STEAL ideas just for them to be able to win the debate and not shame themselves.

Sixth.

The greatest and most important problems in life are all in a certain sense insoluble. They can never be solved not unless through DEBATING.

t h e r e b u t t a l :

Actually, every problem in life can be solved even WITHOUT having to DEBATE. As said earlier, it is just mere talk and no action. Debates just makes people argue about everything which is NOT GOOD at all. A debate just EXAGGERATES problems and thus CREATES BIGGER problems. With all the problems that we are facing, we DON’T NEED TO DEBATE. We just have to WORK HARD and PRAY.

Seventh.

To DEBATE is setting a horizon, out there somewhere and you keep chasing it, looking for it, working for it, having the RIGHT answers.

t h e r e b u t t a l :

Debating does not set a horizon whatsoever. Debating does NOT make one think outside the box. You could keep on talking and talking during debates but it just does NOT MAKE SENSE. At the end of it all, debating just zaps the energy from each and everyone of us. It does not seek the RIGHT answers, it just seeks to CREATE MORE ARGUMENTS and BIGGER PROBLEMS.
