argument: a discussion in which reasons are advanced for and against some proposition or proposal

discuss the pros and cons of an issue


the formal presentation of a stated proposition and the opposition to it (usually followed by a vote)

now WHY DEBATE?



First. everything happens for GOOD.
Debating
happens
for
GOOD.



Second. in EVERYTHING we do, a WINNER is always needed.

Third. debating is FUN.

Fourth. CREATES opportunities.

Fifth. Fosters CRITICAL THINKING.

Sixth.The greatest and most important problems in life are all in a certain sense insoluble. They can never be solved not unless through DEBATING.

Seventh.to DEBATE is setting a horizon, out there somewhere and you keep chasing it, looking for it, working for it, and having the RIGHT answers.
